Rarely has a book  moved me in a way that was in self agreement of mind body and soul. Wanting  to right a review of the book took me to many places, all with a purpose. However I want to share what this book has inspired in me. The conversation is one that I have going on inside the forum. The book is called The Shack
by Wm. Paul Young

I encourage you to read this book it is an experience that you will want to share!
So enjoy the conversation
I received The Shack form a classmate,I'm going to share Papa's (by the way what a wonderful name) message. This is my first year in school at 57 it is challenging and exhilarating. I have knowledge of what the world shares of The Creator, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. But yet I felt there is more. Knowing at a young age I wanted Jesus I accepted Him. Even though over the years I have walked away I always returned and was shown He never left me. This year the path that I have been led to is school and theology. Knowing that having an open and complete surrender to the full relationship with Papa through his son Jesus is the key to my growth. The intellectual independent mind of self went through the motions. Until I read this book my eyes were opened and the tears flowed as the waterfall. This book shares the more of what I have been seeking, the door is wide open and I'm running in without hesitation. May Papa bless you and this book as it opens to those who seek a perspective without the boundaries of the world.

Be Blessed In The Creator's Love

  I have a question a thought really,that I would love feedback.

There are some that are chosen from the beginning of time to do the will of The Creator. (Is this statement agreeable or not)

Is there a course set or rather a direction for one who is chosen? Would one know if one was chosen?

I believe we all have a purpose, some find there true purpose without struggle and others with great difficulty.
Yet others don't find it at all!
I have a desire to seek those that are sought after those that need The Light.
My experience in this life has literary led me to where I'm today.
There were signs and directions along the way some where taken some where not.
I wonder if a dream as a young boy who ran from a ball of white light for four days, represented forty years of running away.
Is it possible; learning about Methuselah the oldest man, we were asked how long would we live.
When it was my turn without thought or hesitation 110 was my reply.
When asked why so long I said because " I'm hardheaded and it is going to take me that long to do what I have to do"
A world renowned Evangelist, standing on a back porch turned around looked me in the eyes, and told me I was to become a preacher then turned to his previous conversation.  He didn't recall saying that and added, there were times when the Spirit would speak delivering a message.
We all are called but few are chosen is it possible to hear the voice of Truth. To see the handwriting on the wall of a journey to come with out doubt.
I find these are more thoughts with questions and wonder. Knowing we all live differently we are all of the same cloth any thoughts?

Have a great and glories day!

Judy a question for you what did you mean by want to be chosen,a little clarification here please. Now when it came to Jonah that brought a chuckle, for indeed if the direction is the wrong way U Turns do appear.

Paula270 Thank You for  your reply I agree with with what you have stated. There is a beauty to all this and a sadness as well. For those that choose to be loved and love, The Creator the world is seen through a different light. The sadness is all around us for there are many that walk in the darkness that profess the love but love not.

As I continue my journey from time to time, I will share what I now call the madness of my intellectual theology one that is structured to keep us in place.

As a parent loves a child and a child loves the parent a deep relationship grows. Papa loves me and I love him thus our relationship continues to grow how wonderful that is

The late Dr. Cook had a saying I enjoyed

"Walk with The King today and be a blessing!"

I humbly thank you all for your comments. I feel when I share what is between my ears (couldn't resist) I take the thoughts to a trashing floor where the wheat is separate form the chaff. We gather information from the day we are born in hopes in one day we can define or self as to who we are. In reality as a whole we are clueless, my intent here is to grow with those in faith as the veil of uncertainty is removed. Which is done in around and about our Lord Jesus Christ.

We were created to have a relationship with God, it was broken acquiring knowledge. Fast forward to now The nature of our bodies is of the world, functional to live on this planet given the spirit of life. The breath we take a gift form the Creator. We grow through knowledge and as we mature the battle begins to rage. The need to satisfy our natural nature of body, has no desire to seek the spiritual essence of our being. Until one hears the Truth. Hearing the words of the Spiritual Gift of Life is an awaking inside as life flutters and yearns to connect to the Giver of Life. We here in this forum I feel are rooted to good soil. As we open the door wider with each breath we take to our Savior who has defeated our sinful nature.

As he becomes apart of us we are open to the Trinity whole and complete. But we our own worst enemy struggle to give up control. In thought we must come as children young ones do not have the knowledge to lead. What we posses are think we posses is are stumbling block. Our knowledge is our death!  The daily battle to move forward is strengthen by Jesus until one day we arrive.

This story I share of my Grandmother, was told to me by my Mother. My desire is to be as she is

One morning my mother got up and said "Daughter I think I would like to have steak and biscuits for breakfast this morning. No worry the lord will provide!" My thought was I got you now old lady I want to see God show up at this door with breakfast. No sooner than the last part of the thought passed, there was a knock at the door. Mother instructing me to get the door I did. There was a man standing at the door with two white shirts over his arm. He inquired if this was the Berry's home affirming he asked to speck to mother.
He was a salesman and had an important meeting to attend and needed his shirts pressed. He was told she could do it and it would fit in his time frame if she would. Mother agreeing took the two white shirts along with a ten dollar bill. Closed the door said "Thank You Jesus, daughter go to the store I'll give you a list of our needs."

Grandmother went home while in service singing  "I'm On My Way Home" a song she requested. She passed when my Mother was 15.
I see them in my minds eye along with Dad full of peace love and joy waiting for the children to come home.

Time is moving on so must I for now;

A brotherly hug in Christ Candice, Judy, Paula270 Sue,and hope some more I enjoy your comments and thoughts.

My your path be lightened by The Lord

 Matthew 19:17-19:23

A Poor Man, With Rich Mans Dreams Have you ever heard the phrase, a poor man with rich mans dreams? Many people in this life are completely exhausted by the race to wealth and prosperity. Looking for today and not for tomorrow. The poor man has only today, struggling to make ends meet, putting food on the table for his family and hoping that the next phone call he gets, isn’t from his boss, telling him that he no longer has a job. I’ve seen many this past week, loose every thing that they’ve had, home, furniture, everything. The only thing these people have now is the cloth on their backs. There are approximately 195 verses in scripture concerning the poor . The Bible states that God, creates the Rich and the poor. But there is no difference between them when it comes to judgments. A poor man dreams of a better day, without debt, without worry, without strife. He dreams sweet dreams of a day when he can rest from his labor and dreams of family, babies and his wife. The rich man has troubled sleep, worried about finances, and national debt, about rising oil prices and interest rates. His days are filled with worry over thoughts of others trying to take what he has. In the story of Matthew 19:17-23 we are shown a good example of failure to abide by the great commandment in the law. Which to me is the greatest commandment of all.
Mat 22:36-38 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment. Now lets look at failure to abide by this commandment. Mat 19:17-23 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
Honor thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. Pro 3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding Psalm 127:2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. There is no need for a poor man, who puts his trust in God to worry. The poor man is confident in the Lord to provide him his daily needs.
Psalm 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
The poor man is free from worry, over someone robbing his home, for his possessions are few and his wealth is in his dreams and in his heart, where no man can take.
1Sa 2:8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, and he hath set the world upon them.
The poor mans dreams are set on Gods promise, “The meek shall inherit the Earth.” When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.
Pro 3:19-27 The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.
By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew. My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck. Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble. When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken. Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. The cries of the poor man. Job 30:25 Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? was not my soul grieved for the poor?
Your stature in this life has no effect on God and His love for you.
Psa 40:17 But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
“yet the Lord thinketh upon me:” isn’t this a true comfort to those who are poor, a dream of the Lord God almighty, sitting on a throne, creator of all, master of the universe, commander of the greatest army, and still in all of Gods thoughts, and in all of Gods majesty, He still has the time to think upon the poor man and his dreams. Wonderful isn’t it? Have we become a people, like the rich young ruler, people that have great possessions and still have nothing but troubled sleep, are we a people that despise the poor, because they remind us of ourselves earlier in life, or do we despise the poor because they are not as we are? Have we forgotten that, our possessions belong to the Lord anyway, that those things that we posses are just loaned to us to help others, the Bible states that, We work to give to others. A poor man dreams of, Pearly Gates and streets of Gold, He dreams of rivers of living water and quires of Angels singing, He dreams of a tree of life and skies of blue, He dreams of eternal sunshine and walks on clouds of white. He dreams of an eternal city where He will never grow old, where his labor is tno sickness, no tears and no final farewells to those he loves. This is what is meant by A Poor Man, with Rich Mans Dreams.
