The American government is the largest business in the world. For years we have had a wild ride with politicians running this business, and now we are in serious trouble. With this in mind it’s time to take a different approach why not put a businessman in charge of the government and this nation. Consider this Herman Cain is running for president. He is not a career politician; in fact he’s never held political office. He’s known as the pizza guy but there’s a lot more to him. He is also a computer guy, a banker guy and a rocket scientist. Here is his resume. *Bachelors degree in Mathematics. *Masters degree in Computer Science. *Mathematician for the Navy where he worked on missile ballistics making him a rocket scientist. *Computer systems analyst for Coca-Cola. *VP of corporate data systems and services for Pillsbury this is the top of the ladder in the computer world, to be in charge of information systems for a Major Corporation. He achieved all this before reaching the age of 35. When he reached the top of the information systems world, he changed careers! *Business manager. Took charge of Pillsbury’s 400 hundred Burger King Restaurants in the Philadelphia area, which were the company’s poorest performers in the country. Spent the first nine months learning the business from ground up, cooking hamburgers and yes even cleaning toilets. After three years he turned them into the company’s best performers. *Godfathers Pizza CEO. Was asked by Pillsbury to take charge of Godfathers Pizza chain, which was on the verge of bankruptcy. He made it profitable in 14 months. In 1988 he led a buyout of Godfathers Pizza chain from Pillsbury. He was now the owner of a restaurant chain. Again, he reached the top of the ladder of another industry. He was also the chairman of the National Restaurant Association during this time. This is a group that interacts with the government on behalf of the restaurant industry, and gave him political experience from a non-politician side. Having reached the top of the second industry, he changed careers again! *Adviser to the Federal Reserve System. Herman Cain went to work for the Federal Reserve banking system, advising them on how monetary policy changes would affect American businesses. *Chairman of the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank he worked his way up to the chairmanship of the regional Federal Reserve Bank. This is the only one step below the chairmanship of the entire Federal Reserve System, the top banking position in the country. This position allowed him to see how monetary policies are made from the inside, and to understand the political forces that affect the monetary system. After reaching the top of the banking industry, he changed careers for the third time! *Writer and public speaker. He then started to write this and speak on leadership. His books include speak as a leader, leadership is common sense, and they think you’re stupid. *Radio host. Around 2007-after a remarkable four-year career-he started hosting a radio show on WSB in Atlanta, the largest talk radio station in the country. He did all this starting from rock-bottom, whose father was a chauffeur for Robert Woodruff of the Coke Cola Company and his mother was a maid. When you add up his accomplishments in his life including reaching the top of three unrelated industries-information systems, business management, and banking-Herman Cain may have the most impressive resume of anyone that has run for presidency in the last half-century. Impressed by the accomplishments of this businessman who is running for president has gained my support. Herman Cain a Christian man a successful businessman is what this country needs. I encourage you to look beyond the color of the man, and listen to what he brings to the table of our country. It is time to put a successful businessman in charge of the largest business in the world. Herman Cain National Debut Herman Cain on the Deficit Martins Mall 09/27/2011

We have the power to achieve, create and change circumstances in our lives. We are born powerful. Our Creator did not leave us helpless, poor and weak. He gave us all the tools to not only survive but fulfill our destiny to the utmost. We are all born for a purpose. Where we came from or the circumstances of our birth, youth or present lifestyle is of little importance no matter Let us consider these Words: “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me: your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; forsake not the works of your own hands.” (Isaiah 138:8) “I will praise you; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are thy works... My substance was not hid from you, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes did see my substance, yet being imperfect; and in your book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.(Psalm 139:14-16) “Thus says the Lord, thy Redeemer; the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go.” (Isaiah 48:17) These are just a few Words of Promise that you can stand on and act upon. The Bible is filled with them. Not only is God’s Word better than the thoughts and words of great thinking and creative genius, it transforms people! Why? Because they penetrate the heart! They don’t merely appeal to your intellect, emotions or common sense, like ordinary words. The Word of God is “Quick and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow (body), and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12). The Word of God is Truth, and the Truth will set you free. Freedom from fear, despair, suffering, and anxiety is the greatest gift you can get. It fills you with hope, love and faith which transforms into real Power... Jesus is also called the Word of God. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with of God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1) He came to give beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord. (Isaiah 61:3) Furthermore, to those who believe in Him He gives the power to become the sons of God. (John 1:12) That amazing power is not just for us to read about in the Bible. That kind of supernatural power is available to each and every one of us, every moment of every day! God's truth allows you to experience His grace and His power. So, instead of solving your problems by your own minute power, allow me to encourage you to reach out and tap into God’s Power. It's available for each one of us, smart or not, rich or poor, happy or miserable - any time we call upon His name. Empowered By God 08/17/2011
Did you know God has provided ways in His word to empower His children? Did you know there are specific things you can do to contribute to answered prayer, good health, a peaceful life and more? It's true! Once we are saved, we don't just float through our days hoping to catch God in a good mood when He is willing to answer prayer or provide for our needs. His word gives us many things we can do continually to set His hand in motion. Covenant Promises Open your Bible to some of the verses where God states the promises He is willing to bestow on His children. For instance, Deuteronomy 28 is filled with blessings. What do you notice about how this chapter begins? "Now it shall come to pass, IF you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God…" Then, at the end of the blessings section of this chapter (verse 13) what do we see again? "And the Lord shall make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only and not be beneath, IF you heed the commandments of the Lord your God…" If we do what God instructs us to do then He will give us all He has promised to give. This if/then type of promise is called a covenant promise. It operates the same as when an attorney draws up a contract between two people. One party agrees to do a particular thing and - after it is done - a second party agrees to do something else. God empowers us to have control of certain circumstances by offering us these covenant promises or blessings. You Go First God usually wants us to take the action He has laid out in His word before we are rewarded. He empowers us to do what we should then rewards us once we have done it. Luke chapter six holds other good examples of ways God has empowered us. In verse 37, Jesus instructs, "Judge not and you shall not be judged. Condemn not and you shall not be condemned." Verse 38 continues in the same way by saying, "Give and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over; men shall give unto your bosom. For with the same measure you use, it shall be measured back to you." Again, we go first. If we give, we shall receive. Whatever measure we use to give to God, that's the same measure He will use to give to us. We have the control. We make the first move. I Peter 3:7 shows yet another good example. "Husbands, likewise, dwell with [your wives] with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered." When husbands treat their wives as God says they should, they give more power to their prayers. The husband's prayers are not hindered because of his actions. If he treats his wife in an ungodly manner, his prayer will be hindered. In this example, the husband has the power. As you read through your Bible this week, make note of the times God empowers us. You may want to make a list or mark the verses in your Bible as you find them so you can remember when to act and what to do to release God's best in your life. Many times our actions are all that stand in the way of answered prayers so step aside and be quiet. Is God waiting on you? Kindness Benefit Everyone 07/25/2011
Do you really want to be happy? Everyone says yes, but the gateway to happiness makes some of us frown. The gateway to happiness, is giving to others. Think about this: "If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion." - The Dalai Lama says, "Some of us may feel that, if we give too much, our generosity, will be taken advantage of by others." This is true, and a few very selfish individuals can possibly perceive your good intentions as weakness. However, people who seek to take advantage are in the minority. To quote Gandhi, "We must be the change, we wish to see in the world." Think about it, change has to start somewhere, so why not start with you and me, right now? You can donate anything randomly, without seeking reward, and anonymously, without telling anyone. This is good for you, the universe, and those who receive your acts of kindness. Every time you give, you will receive – even, if you are not looking for a reward. Try it, and you will see, what some call, “karma,” the law of cause and effect. It works like this: For every action there is a reaction. Let’s make sure the reactions to our actions are good ones. Danny Thomas said, "All of us are born for a reason, but all of us don't discover why. Success in life has nothing to do with what you gain in life or accomplish for yourself. It's what you do for others." Share everything and you will achieve a legacy of kindness. Share nothing and people will, do their best, to forget you. When my life is over I will only leave memories, in the minds of others, and I want them all to be good ones. So, how much should you give? It can start with, “heart felt”, kind words, a note, a card, or a flower. You will find that your gifts or donations won’t make you poor. As a result of this, you will see most people, naturally, return kindness to you. You should also take the time to be polite to all of the people who perform services for you, every day. Many people do not bother to say hello to the maid, janitor, parking attendant, or service clerk. Once you do, you may even learn their name, and you would be surprised how many of them will go out of their way to give you good service, just by addressing them by their first name. If you establish sincerity and trust where ever you go, you will be loved by your fellow man. It is really that simple. As Mohammed said, "A person's true wealth is the good he or she does in the world." Aim High 06/02/2011
Change is difficult for many people. Often times our whole identity is wrapped up in what we've learned as children will work for us when dealing with people, allowing us to survive, thrive and fit in. While some people have had to learn to thrive in the midst of change and learned to be adaptable by being open to new ideas and embracing change, many others have had to fight for survival and every table-scrap that came their way. Behavior is learned and it takes work to unlearn and dismantle these old beliefs. The truth of the matter is that win-win is always possible. When you are able to see beyond the ego and recognize the abundance that is available, people, minds, and ideas come together and can create amazing changes that improve the current scenarios for many, many people. When you work with people who have this abundant and generous attitude, you are uplifted, the team soars, and amazing energy and creativity is unleashed. This is much harder to do, to sustain, and to elevate within others when you encounter individuals driven by the thought of scarcity and competition. People like Steve Jobs are visionaries that have sought to bring about such shifts in society and in business. One thing I've learned along the way is that it is often better to take the high road. This isn't about judging others as wrong or seeing yourself as better than others. This is about recognizing your truth as to how you wish to BE in the world. Don't compromise your integrity. Don't get caught up in the competition. See the vision, see the outcome, feel the purpose and passion you're driven to offer the world, and give it freely. We all die. You can’t take anything from this life with you. So give what you have to offer the world. What is not given is lost forever. If your goal is to truly bring about a positive change and serve others, how it is accomplished becomes less important and seeing it accomplished becomes more important. While it may be a blow to your ego when others criticize your inspiration, or someone takes the credit for something you've introduced, holding fast to the benefits for everyone will often soften the sting. You do need to pick and choose those places where you'll offer yourself, the key is to evaluate whether it is serving a common good. When you’re getting compensated for your contributions, gratitude would serve you spirit of peace. If you continually feel abused and stomped on, maybe it is time to move on to a more collaborative team, as well as a more receptive and appreciative audience. Knowing that you are accomplishing your purpose and living your passion will be reward. In time, it will be recognized. Imposters will eventually be seen and heart & soul will always outlast the mind & ego. Along the way, through the journey that is your life and career, you will need to hold fast to the true inner qualities and nature of the brilliance that is you. Don’t allow these negative experiences to become something that undermines your value. You are not the negative experience. Often times, the negativity we experience from others, is more a reflection of them and less about who you are. We all have different lenses, different gifts, different wiring, and different experiences. Difference is not something to be judged, it is a gift of diversity that brings the pieces of the puzzle of life together and creates a society, a solution, a technology, etc., together for the benefit of us all. Don’t doubt yourself when others cannot see the vision you see. Keep true, keep your intentions, and you will attract the right support, the right people, and the right opportunities. Lower the ego and aim high the vision. Best wishes, Lee Make a Difference Are You Trapped By Old Beliefs? 04/29/2011
If you have ever wondered what kinds of beliefs you have stored away in your unconscious that silently influence your choices, take a good look at your life, including your friends, your loved ones, your job, and even your health. The life you currently live is a reflection of your beliefs about what you are willing to accept and tolerate. This is the vital difference that separates people who live abundant happy lives from those who don’t. For instance, people who continue to stay in abusive relationships, work at jobs they don’t enjoy, or struggle financially, do so as a result of the beliefs they hold. Yet there are individuals in society who will never ever accept being unjustly treated, living just above the poverty line, or working in professions that do not make full use of their gifts. These individuals are those who stand out in the crowd: the entrepreneurs, pioneers, and leaders who refuse to allow the opinions of others to dictate how they live their lives. They do this not because they are better or more gifted than everyone else, but simply because their beliefs do not allow them to do otherwise. It is important to remember that we all play an active role in the creation of our belief systems, even if this occurs when we are vulnerable to the influence of others. Once these beliefs are impressed on our unconscious mind, they become the rulebook that controls the direction of our lives. All your successes and failures, then, are in some way influenced by this unconscious set of rules you have written. Whatever it is you wish to achieve, whether it be a skill you’re attempting to master, a subject you wish to learn or an illness you are struggling to overcome, your success will be determined by a single factor: the unconscious beliefs that make up your book of rules. Much of the struggle you experience in life relates to the inner turmoil you feel when you make a new choice that conflicts with the set of rules you have created about life and simply forgotten. To end this struggle and become the master of your own destiny, you must therefore master the unconscious beliefs that control you. The Secret of Deliberate Creation Angels and Spirit Guides 04/06/2011
Even when you feel as though you are completely alone, there are Divine Companions who are always with you. Before your incarnation they chose to accompany you through your lifetime- from the moment of your first breath- until your last. Spirit Guides are highly evolved beings that have completed the cycle of birth and death in the physical plane and are now serving as teachers and guides to further elevate their vibrations. They are as "real" as you are- they are just vibrating at another level and reside in another plane of existence. They work to guide you by working through your dreams and intuition. That quiet voice you hear is often the voice of your teachers and guides. They may also make themselves known to you through signs and symbols. For me, when I am at a crossroads in my life or journeying though a personal or emotional challenge- I find feathers everywhere. I also see feather tattoos, hawks and hear certain songs. It is a reminder for me to be still and listen to the guidance of my own personal guides. The feathers are representative of the energy of my guides- one being a powerful Shaman and the others are from the Angelic Realm. Some individuals have one guide and others have multitudes- much of this depends on the path and purpose of your life. For instance, a teacher/professor may have several guides- one to guide them through the academic nature of their profession and others to assist them with the great emotional requirements of performing such an important task. A policeman, fireman, or soldier will often have a "team" of warriors guiding and protecting them. Much of who your guides are indicative of your own personal journey though life. Spirit guides are almost never a loved one who has passed away. Although our loved ones stay with us in spirit and we can contact them, they do not serve the same role as a "spirit guide". Some individuals have Archangels and Angels as spirit guides who are always with them. Yet, the presence of Angels does not always mean they are your spirit guides. Angels can be called in times of distress to assist you for a short time. If you have an Archangel or Angel as a guide, chances are your mission in life is a complex one. Through my experience with being a psychic reader and spiritual teacher- I have found that individuals with a challenging life path often have Angels as spirit guides. Your spirit guide is always with you, whether you acknowledge their presence or not. You cannot call them to you or send them away- they are part of you and your journey. However, you can choose to gain the knowledge of who they are and what their role in your life is. You can interact with your spirit guides in a more proactive way. If you want to know who your guides are, just ask. Get in a quiet and meditative space and ask that they reveal themselves to you. Do not get discouraged if you do not figure it out right away. Beings from the spiritual realm often communicate through signs and symbols. Once you ask- you must trust your own wisdom. Pay attention to the pictures that appear in your mind. If you see a man in a suit- stay with that- it could be he is a philosopher or scientist. You may see a Native American Indian, a Buddhist Monk or you may see nothing at all. Keep your mind and intuition open. Pay attention to things that keep coming up after you have asked that they reveal who they are. If you are having a challenge discovering who they are you can also contact a professional psychic/intuitive to assist you. Working with your spirit guides can be an incredible tool for your own personal and spiritual growth. Unlike beings who are in the physical- their wisdom and advice is not influenced by the "world". They dwell in a higher vibrational plane and the mundane particulars of your situation are not relevant. For example- if you seek guidance from your spirit guide regarding a relationship- they will lead you to focus on what you are learning, what you need to learn, what you are teaching your partner, and what is the true meaning of your relationship. The fact that they leave the toilet seat up or are terrible at budgeting the household finances will be irrelevant. The information that you will be provided with- will be actions that YOU can take to gain more understanding. You can also ask your Spirit Guides to assist you in physical healing. Before you go to sleep, ask that as you are sleeping- you receive healing. You are never alone. Never. Take faith in knowing and understanding that there is so much magic and mystery in this life. Just for a moment let the "world" disappear. Raise your vibration and allow the beautiful gifts of spirit wash over you. Life is so much more than what we see. Open your spiritual eyes and hearts and you will discover a world of wisdom, beauty and peace that you never knew existed. Of course, you can always choose to not believe. It is always your choice. But, why not? Why not step into another level of existence? Why not believe in magic? You do not have to announce it to the office, but you can embrace the wonders of spirit in your own heart. It will envelope you in a light of love and understanding- and will mysteriously transform you to a more connected and loving being. Oh, what would they say at the water cooler then? Prayers To Japan 03/19/2011
People throughout the World are struggling with how to handle the powerful emotions evoked by the scenes of destruction in the aftermath of the recent events in Japan. Here is one Prayer. What can I do? I cannot even find the right words to say in a prayer because so many lives have been lost and so many people are in need of help. It seems like any words I could pray are not enough help in such an overwhelming situation. We understand your feelings. Many people are seeking reassurance and an affirmation that God is present in the situation, regardless of how dire it appears now. We invite you to keep the faith for all those affected by the events by affirming the following: * We affirm peace, protection, healing and divine order; * The love of God comforts and soothes you; * The light of God guides you and keeps you safe; * The life of God heals and renews you; * The power of God works through you to restore order and rebuild your life; * You are sustained in body, mind and spirit by the ever-renewing presence of God.
